Trump Actually Just Said Name-Calling Is a 'Disgrace'

Trump calls on Sen. Jon Tester to resign over Ronny Jackson allegations

Trump Calls for Sen. Tester's Resignation Over VA Nominee Saga

Senator Jerry Moran says it will take a strong leader to take over the Dept. of Veteran Affairs, and the USA was too quick to judge the President's former nomination. Jon Tester's (D., Mont.) assertion that Jackson was known as the "candy man" inside the White House.

Ronny L. Jackson's withdrawal from consideration to lead the Department of Veterans Affairs stanched an immediate political crisis for the Trump White House, but it sparked new questions over his future as the president's doctor and the fate of the embattled agency. The Secret Service is unable to confirm (in fact they deny) any of the phony Democrat charges which have absolutely devastated the wonderful Jackson family.

Tester is seeking re-election this year.

Before calling Jackson a hero, Trump said that it was a "disgrace" to see Jackson's record tarnished by "false accusations".

"You get to the bureaucracy, the Department of Veteran Affairs in Washington D.C., and it's hard for any secretary it seems to me to lead that bureaucracy", he said.

CNN reported Friday, after Jackson withdrew, that the White House medical unit under his watch frequently functioned as a "grab and go" clinic where mid-level staffers to the most senior officials could obtain prescription drugs without being examined by a doctor, according to five of the medical unit's former and current employees.

None sounded like the accusation contained in the document distributed by Mr. Tester: "At a Secret Service going-away party, Jackson got drunk and wrecked a government vehicle".

Jackson's nomination had become imperiled even before Capitol Hill Democrats on Wednesday released new allegations of misconduct.

Tester did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

In a statement the White House issued from Jackson, he said he "did not expect to have to dignify baseless and anonymous attacks on my character and integrity".

Jackson withdrew his name from consideration for the nomination Thursday before his position on Choice could be explored.

The U.S. Secret Service, meanwhile, says it has no evidence to support an allegation that its personnel intervened to prevent Jackson from disturbing former President Barack Obama during a foreign trip in 2015.

Said Trump, "I think Jon Tester has a big price to pay". He would have been a great leader, ' Trump complained, noting that he, Obama and former President George W. Bush had all praised the doctor's conduct in the past.

The information that Jackson successfully passed regular controlled substance audits directly challenges Sen.

"If they had any merit, I would not have been selected, promoted and entrusted to serve in such a sensitive and important role as physician to three presidents over the past 12 years", he said.
