TRUMP TOWN? New Jerusalem Neighborhood May be Named After Trump
During a joint press conference Friday, German Chancellor Angela Merkel appeared less than amused as President Donald Trump went off on a lengthy story about how he negotiated a lower price for the United States Embassy set to open in Jerusalem next month.
The move has caused widespread anger from Palestinian after Trump gave order in that direction few months ago.
We will remind that on 6 December 2017, the US President, Donald trump has officially recognized Jerusalem as Israel's capital and ordered the transfer of the American Embassy.
He urged countries that do not recognize the state of Palestine to do so with East Jerusalem as its capital, and to support Palestine's accession to global organizations.
The Czech Republic's president suggested Wednesday that his country was considering joining the U.S.in moving its embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. He said he instinctively knew the embassy could be opened instead for a mere $300,000-$400,000, through a makeover of part of an existing USA installation.
Asked about the embassy opening, he praised the location in Arnona, in West Jerusalem, as an ideal spot. And the papers - Mike Pence can tell you - the papers were put before me, to sign an application for more than $1 billion to build an embassy.
Trump said that when he questioned David Friedman, his pick to be the US ambassador to Israel, about the $1 billion cost, Friedman said that he could renovate an existing USA property for $150,000. It's been promised for many, many years by presidents.
"I had my name half signed, then I noticed the figure and I didn't". I said, "What?" He said, "I can build it for $150,000, the embassy".
Friedman said, "I can build it for $150,000" by renovating part of a current USA property in Jerusalem al-Quds, and "instead of 10 years from now, we can open it up in three months", according to Trump. And it will be somewhat temporary but it could be for many years. Let's not go from a billion dollars to $150,000.

Ronny Jackson withdraws from Veteran Affairs nomination
She said Jackson has received "enormous praise" in past employment reviews, but had discussed the allegations with Trump. Mr Trump added: "I think Jon Tester (a U.S. senator who has been vocal about the allegations) has a big price to pay".
