Spotify and Hulu teamed up past year to offer a discounted bundle to students, and they have now done it again for the rest of us - though with some caveats ... Spotify is also one of the biggest music streaming services around, and the most well rounded of the options.

In the new subscription plan, enrolled members will have access to both Spotify Premium and Hulu Limited Commercials for $13 per month. The new plan open to anyone costs USD 12.99 per month, compared to a standard price for the separate services of USD 9.99 and USD 7.99.

Hulu and Spotify teamed up previously in September to offer a $4.99 per month package for students which gave people access to the Spotify music library and the Hulu entry-level package, says Variety.

A Spotify bundle with Hulu combines the two subscriptions and cuts their aggregate price.

Spotify offered a similar bundle deal with Hulu to students previous year for $4.99-per-month, but is now expanding the package to its subscribers (and subsequently to its potential subscriber) in the US. That means the bundled service will be $5 cheaper than buying Spotify and Hulu subscriptions separately. Then you can add Hulu's ad-supported service, which is normally $8 per month, to your Spotify membership for just $3. Spotify Premium now costs $10 per month, while Hulu with limited commercials costs $8 per month.

It seems that basic cable is nearly gone, as many people don't need the hundreds of channels you will never watch. Apple will also be entering this lucrative avenue soon by producing original content to complement and diversify their pre-existing streaming service. However, Hulu is still not available to users based in the UK.

This isn't the first time Hulu and Spotify have worked together on a joint plan.
