Days after a series of billboards in the Cleveland area pushing for the Cavaliers superstar to leave town for the Philadelphia 76ers this summer in free agency, James was the subject of a Philly report saying he was looking into private schools in the area over the All-Star break.

The Cavaliers will be in action on Thursday night when they take on the 76ers at Quicken Loans Arena.

The Philadelphia 76ers led wire-to-wire in a 108-97 victory over the Cavaliers in Cleveland on Thursday, perhaps the flawless sales pitch if they want to lure LeBron James to Pennsylvania next season. "We fought back but it's been a tough stretch for us playing every other day the last four weeks, but we've got to figure it out".

James had his usual stellar night with 30 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists.

"We were sharing the ball", Walton said. We still had a chance to win.

"I think they came in and played well, but we had some missed opportunities". Give credit where credit is due. Joel Embiid and Robert Covington each had double-doubles. The Sixers led by as many as 13 points and the Cavaliers didn't lead at any point.

"What are you talking about", he said. Nance even played the final 16 minutes of action.

Philadelphia (33-27) are now in sixth spot in the Eastern Conference while Cleveland (36-25) are third. He added that Smith will be ready for practice Friday and return for the team's game against the Denver Nuggets on Saturday. That has made him an effective leader for the Cleveland Cavaliers, and someone his teammates look up to, by giving instructions to them on how to become more effective during games.

Meanwhile, Smith, who was instrumental as the Cavs clinched their maiden National Basketball Association title in 2016, said he was happy to accept a bench role if that meant helping the team.
