Britain's Prince Harry and his fiancée actor Meghan Markle attend a reception for young people at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh during their visit to Scotland

Harry and Meghan started off their visit at the iconic castle, where they were given a ceremonious welcome by the Royal Marines Scotland Band. Meghan Markle is getting ready to Wednesday the love of her life, Prince Harry, and has revealed that her bachelorette (or hen, in England) party has been planned, but she doesn't quite know what she's in for.

Underneath her coat, Meghan again chose to wear pants - Veronica Beard's sailor pants, to be specific - and a hunter green cross-body bag from Strathberry.

Crowds who had waited hours in the cold outside Edinburgh Castle, which dominates the skyline from a rock in the city centre, were thrilled with the smiling couple.

Meghan teamed it with wide-legged Veronica Beard trousers and a Wolford turtleneck bodysuit. The couple shook hands, said hello, and greeted the the Royal Regiment of Scotland and their little mascot, a Shetland pony named Cruachan IV.

Harry, 33, narrowly missed a few bites from the tartan-clad pony as he went in for a pat, at one point exclaiming "hey!" Meghan told the girl.

Like Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, William and Kate were married in Westminster Abbey, while Prince Charles and Princess Diana said "I do" at St. Paul's Cathedral. Well, yes, the meltynautes, Meghan Markle and prince Harry seem to move widely in the preparations of their marriage.

Local baker Carolyn Chisholm gave Meghan a batch of heart-shaped potato scones, but the prospective duchess's pronunciation of "scone" was a failure with the crowd.

"I get asked this all the time like I know the royal family".

Harry and Meghan then visited Social Bite, a café and social business that tackles homelessness - a cause close to Harry's heart.

During the Edinburgh visit, Meghan even entered a debate of the pronunciation of "scone". One of the people on the invite list, reports say, is the Grammy-winning musician known for his lovely melodies and heartfelt lyrics.

The Year of Young People is an initiative aiming to inspire Scotland through its youngsters by celebrating their achievements and strengthening their voice on social issues.

Despite this, some of the other variants are already sold out too in less than a day.
