15-Year-Old Survivor Emma Ann Miller Says MSU Is Still Billing Her For Larry Nassar Appointments Where She Was Sexually Assaulted

Three members of USA Gymnastics' board of directors resigned Monday amid one of the largest sexual abuse scandals in US sports history involving disgraced doctor Larry Nassar.

The resignations of chairman Paul Parilla, vice chairman Jay Binder and treasurer Bitsy Kelley were announced in Indianapolis while a judge in Lansing, Michigan, heard a fifth day of statements from women and girls who said they were molested by Larry Nassar.

"We support their decisions to resign at this time", the organization's president Kerry Perry said in the statement.

"We believe this step will allow us to more effectively move forward in implementing change within our organisation", the body said.

"I hope that the right person was convicted and I have to say, though, that I have the utmost - the utmost faith and respect - for the leadership of our president, too, at Michigan State".

"I know, and Nassar knows, that in federal prison he will be fed, he will clothed and he'll be provided actual medical treatment", Miller said.

In June 2017, the gymnastics board adopted the new USA Gymnastics SafeSport Policy that replaced the previous policy.

"I am possibly the last child he will ever assault", the 15-year-old girl said.

"I will not rest until every last trace of your influence on this sport has been destroyed like cancer it is", Raisman said during a testimony for Nassar's sentencing Friday. Raisman spoke for nearly 12 minutes, not only going after Nassar but going after USA Gymnastics and the U.S. Olympic Committee for enabling his behavior.

"Larry, you do realize now that we, this group of women you so heartlessly abused over such a long period of time, are now a force, and you are nothing", Raisman said. "You "apologized" to them, you have thrown money at them, but about the only thing you haven't done is listen". However, more than half a dozen Olympic athletes, including Simone Biles, allege the abuse also happened in Texas at the Karolyi Ranch in Huntsville. Nassar has pleaded guilty to charges of sexual assault, and Raisman was delivering a victim impact statement in court (she was one of several gymnasts to do so).

Nassar admitted to molesting athletes during treatment when he was employed by Michigan State University and USA Gymnastics, which trains Olympians.

Larry Nassar is escorted into the courtroom last Thursday.

"After watching many of these heartbreaking statements and reading accounts about them, we have concluded that only a review by your office can resolve the questions in a way that the victims, their families, and the public will deem satisfactory and that will help all those affected by Nassar's bad crimes to heal", the university's board said in a letter to Schuette requesting his help.

Miller asked the judge to go over and above the sentencing guidelines of 60 years in prison. Larry, we are here.
