Harold Ford Jr. fired due to sexual harassment allegations
"He has been terminated for conduct inconsistent with our values and in violation of our policies", Morgan Stanley said in a statement sent to NBC News.
In two interviews with HuffPost, the woman alleged that Ford engaged in harassment, intimidation, and forcibly grabbed her one evening in Manhattan, leading her to seek aid from a building security guard.
Morgan Stanley has fired former congressman Harold Ford Jr.as a senior adviser to the firm after investigating a claim of inappropriate conduct.

The woman, who declined to be identified, was not a Morgan Stanley employee at the time of the alleged incident but interacted professionally with Ford on a regular basis.
Ford responded to the allegations hours after the report.

Ford left Congress in 2007 and has been a managing director at Morgan Stanley since 2011. MSNBC had no immediate comment on the situation.
