Candidates Hillary Clinton And Donald Trump Hold Second Presidential Debate At Washington University

Hillary Clinton once again questioned the legitimacy of the 2016 election this week, and Trump responded with resounding criticism.

U.S. President Donald Trump on Saturday denounced allegations of Hillary Clinton who questioned the legitimacy of his victory in last year's presidential election.

In the past, Trump has mentioned that he wants Clinton to run against him again in 2020, but she claims that her career as an "active politician" is over. And, in an interview with WABC Radio host Rita Cosby on Friday she said she "didn't think he'd be as bad as he turned out to be".

The American President also asked the former First Lady of the State to "give it another try after three years".

"I don't understand a lot about how he got away with so many attacks and insults and behaviors that allowed him to win the presidency", the publication reported Clinton as saying.

She suggested that she believes the Trump campaign colluded with the Russians, something Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team has been investigating but the president has flatly denied.

Ms Clinton contrasted the accusations against Mr Franken, a Democrat from Minnesota, with Mr Trump and Alabama Senate nominee Roy Moore, who is accused of sexually harassing teenagers when he was in his 30s.

"I don't hear that from Roy Moore or Donald Trump", she added.

The president has been blasting Franken, while trying to stay out of the Moore situation.

Clinton has been very vocal about her thoughts on the president and his administration while promoting her new book, "What Happened", about her reflections of her loss in the 2016 presidential race.
