Two dead in shooting at Grambling State

Campus Shooting

Two people were killed in a shooting at the Grambling State University in Louisiana, according to the school.

Grambling State University Director of University Communications Will Sutton said the casualties were Earl Andrews, a senior at GSU, and Monquiarious Caldwell, who was not an understudy.

The school issued an alert early Wednesday and the Twitter account for the GSU Residential Life warned students to remain in their residential halls.

Based on preliminary information gathered at the scene, the shooting followed an altercation, which started inside one of the dormitories, said Williams. In this photo, Crime scene tape is stretched around the front of a home where a man was shot in Chicago, Illinois, May 28, 2017.

Students have been told to stay in their rooms.

In Louisiana, the U.S., unknown persons opened fire at the University of Grambling.

The victims' families are now in mourning. "We will fully cooperate with the police investigation".
