Police investigated sex abuse claims against Edward Heath made by dead people

A report from Wiltshire police claims former #British Prime Minister Edward Heath would have been questioned, under criminal caution, over sexual abuse claims had he been alive today.

Between 1990 and 1992: Heath also allegedly indecently assaulted a boy aged between 12 and 14 between 1990 and 1992 in a garden in Wiltshire, though the report warns tehre is undermining evidence for this offence that they would have nevertheless liked to have questioned him on.

Claim: Heath allegedly indecently assaulted a 15-year-old boy during three paid sexual encounters.

Wiltshire Police in southern England, which led the two-year investigation into Heath, published a report on its findings Thursday and outlined seven allegations of abuse of children and adults that investigators would have pursued, including the alleged rape of an 11-year-old boy in 1961 in a "paid sexual encounter".

October 1970: British prime minister Edward Heath chatting with U.S. president Richard Nixon (1913 - 1994) at Chequers in Buckinghamshire, the official country residence of the British PM. Was Sir Edward Heath a paedophile or was he not? These relate to separate people who did not know each other, each in a different location and time period.

Heath was first elected asConservative MP for Bexley in Kent in 1950 and defeated Harold Wilson's Labour Party in 1970, before losing to Wilson four years later after a damaging miners' strike.

"There is a great deal of credible evidence that he did have a predilection for abusing children, particularly boys, and that is all we can say", he told Sputnik.

What began as a corruption probe over claims the prosecution of a brothel owner was dropped after threats were made to expose Sir Edward morphed into Operation Conifer, with Wiltshire Police leading at least seven forces carrying out inquiries into the former Prime Minister.

The report revealed that there was "reason to suspect" two people may have "intentionally misled" the police by alleging that they were abused by Sir Edward. He remains the only British Prime Minister to have won a major worldwide sporting trophy whilst in office. He had just become an MP.

"When I grew up I formed a closer relationship with him".

"In the case of one of these disclosures, a live criminal investigation remains ongoing", the report states. Two others were said to have been removed from the list at a late stage.

Garnier said that police forces were embarking upon unnecessary inquiries into high profile abuse as they struggle to recover their reputations following the failure to prosecute the former BBC personality Jimmy Savile. In December 2016, Veale was stung into a vehement denunciation of the criticism.

The report made public Thursday is not the full version.

Former Cabinet Secretary Lord Armstrong of Ilminster and Lord Hunt of Wirral, friends of Sir Edward, issued a joint statement calling for an independent judge-led inquiry and described the Operation Conifer report as "profoundly unsatisfactory".

Mr Veale added the inquiry was "politically sensitive" but denied direct pressure on investigators.
