Flipkart Big Billion Day Sale What's behind lucrative payment options and offers

India's largest e-commerce firm Flipkart said on Thursday that it was on track to double sales from its flagship sale event Big Billion Days this year, as compared to last year's five-day event and further extend its slender lead over arch-rival Amazon India.

After many months, Flipkart officially announced the launch of Big Billion Days offers from 20th September 2017 to 24th September 2017.

Flipkart's direct competitor, Amazon, hasn't been spared too.

Amazon has put up the latest OnePlus smartphone for grabs at a price of Rs 32,999.

Moto G5 Plus (Fine Gold): The sale is offering Moto G5 Plus at the discounted rate of Rs 12,999 and is offering an extra Rs 500 off on exchange. For Prime customers, the company will offer exclusive deals and also assured one and two-day free delivery.

Lastly, the 32GB iPhone 7 is retailing at a price of Rs 38,999. There's also an EMI option, which starts at Rs 2,377. The discounted price of the phone is Rs 10,999 after a discount of around Rs 8,000 on the current price of Rs 19,999.

In case deep discounts are not enough to lure customers, e-commerce portals have tied up with banks, financial institutions, and digital wallet companies to offer deals that could give consumers more bang for their buck.

The JBL Cinema SB150 soundbar is available at a discounted price of Rs. 10,999 (MRP Rs. 24,990) as part of the Flipkart Big Billion Day sale.

This phone was priced at Rs 72,000 in India. Rs. 20,000 off is available on the exchange of TVs.

On the other hand, Flipkart has put the iPhone SE model under Rs 20,000 bracket.
