Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 front panel leaks again

Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 front panel leaks again

The upcoming Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is indeed creating a buzz in the tech universe.

Shortly after the Xiaomi CEO shared these details, a leaker on Weibo published a couple of renders of the Mi Mix 2.

With Xiaomi Mi6 becoming the talk of the old town, it is now time to look forward to the company's next flagship smartphone.

The first was a post by Qualcomm China's official account that confirmed the handset would come with the Snapdragon 835 SoC.

Although rumours hint at Snapdragon 836 for the upcoming Mi Mix 2, it is sort of unlikely. Jun also confirmed that the Mi Mix 2 will have a 17:9 aspect ratio, the same one that's on the original Mi Mix. In that, the new rumors read that the Xiaomi's next launch will come up with the Snapdragon 836 processor. There are still no words by Qualcomm about bringing this processor as of yet. Also, the OS will run out of the box with Android 8.0 Oreo, another leak. There is only one week to wait until we find out everything there is to know about one of the most impressive- looking handsets of this year.

"The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is expected to sport a 6.4" bezel-less Quad HD display. There's been a lot of questions regarding the location of the front-facing camera for the Mi Mix 2 since early leaks suggested that the device won't have any room for it.

The cameras will also be a dual setup and the phone itself will have two variants. From what we've seen so far from leaks, it appears that the next iPhone will include some radical changes, but in launching a day prior, Xiaomi will take the spotlight for 24 hours and lay the ground for direction comparisons with Apple's next flagship. The new version had only slight updates as per the report. Its maximum internal storage option is expected to go up to 256 GB, while its battery is said to be packed with 4,400 mAh.
