Powerball rolls over to $510 million for Saturday

Powerball winning numbers drawn for $430 million jackpot

The winning numbers from Wednesday were 9-15-43-60-64 with a Powerball of 4. The sale of tickets ends at least an hour before the official draw that takes place Wednesday and Saturday night.

Since the June 14 drawing, Powerball has seen no jackpot victor with the money soaring over 19 times. It's the fifth largest jackpot in Powerball history and the eighth largest US lottery jackpot.

Some lucky people across the country are taking home smaller prizes.

In New Jersey, seven tickets were sold matching four numbers and the Powerball. The next drawing is Saturday, August 19.

Six tickets were sold that are worth $50,000.

The last MI player to win the Powerball jackpot was Julie Leach, of Three Rivers. The estimated jackpot was $430 million.

Powerball's jackpot reached an estimated $510 million early Thursday. It has had many $2 million winners, however, and others have won smaller prizes.

There were 1,170 tickets that matched three numbers to win a whopping seven dollars.

Powerball is played in 42 states, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

More than $500 million will be up for grabs in the next Powerball lottery drawing. There also are eight additional ways for players to win a cash prize.
