Is this the Huawei Mate 10?

Huawei Mate 10 Leak 2

Earlier in July, the chief of Huawei's consumer division, Richard Yu, confirmed one design aspect in an interview stating that the Huawei Mate 10 will come with a full-screen display, which basically means it would sport an extremely thin bezel.

Now, if the below design and feature rumours are to be believed, Huawei could either be extremely smart and stick to the £599 price point and make its bezel-less display a true Galaxy S8/LG G6 competitor, or it could charge a little more and compete directly with flagship smartphones. Further, the upcoming Mate 10 is speculated to come with features like iris scanner and 2K resolution. Recently, a render surfaced online, showing off the almost bezel-less design of the handset.

The render also revealed that the Huawei Mate 10 will be ditching the 3.5mm headphone jack in favor of a USB Type-C port.

Huawei Mate 10 is rumoured to launch by the end of this year. For now, we will take this render and supposed specs with a grain of salt until Huawei officially announces it.

Design aside, other rumours regarding specifications have also surfaced. Since the top of the Mate 10 is not visible in the images, it is not possible to ascertain whether or not it comes with a 3.5mm audio jack port. The event is set to take place in Munich, Germany, but can't vouch for the accuracy of the information since we haven't received the invitation yet.

The Mate 10 will continue to sport dual rear camera system from Leica. On that note, the Kirin 970 is also expected to be built using a 10nm process, like Samsung and Qualcomms chips.

This latest leak also came with some predictions for the internals, including a Kirin 970 processor, 6.1-inch QHD display, and 6GB/64GB memory configuration.

In fact, we knew this phone was most likely coming soon, thanks to several leaks and teasers about the upcoming device.
