Unfortunately Microsoft has not announced whether the new Surface Plus payment scheme will roll out to Europe and further afield but as soon small details are announced we will keep you up-to-date as always.
Microsoft this week unveiled two leasing programs for its various Surface devices - one for students and one for SMBs - that both have plenty of fine print to consider.
Customers who avail the Surface Plus program and its 24-month payment plan will also be allowed to upgrade to the latest Surface model after 18 months into the program. The main thing is the hardware you're intending to swap must be in "good condition".
Called Surface Plus, the program is now live for customers in the US. It also covers the full Surface range, including the company's Surface Hub and Surface Studio families. As Mary Jo Foley at ZDNet notes, it isn't at all clear how Surface Plus for Business compares to - or works with - last year's Surface as a Service business leasing program. It's a simple plan to enable customers to jump on the hardware that Microsoft has so meticulously created.
Flexible Terms. Businesses can choose flexible 18, 24 or 30 month periods, with the ability to upgrade devices after just 12 months on the 18-month term (or after 18 months of the 24-month term). After 18 months, you can upgrade to the latest Surface device, as long as you turn in your existing gadget and agree to a new 24-month payment plan for the new one. Without any kind of announcement or other fanfare from Microsoft, the option to get the most high-end version of the laptop has disappeared from the online marketplace.

Microsoft has released many such updates, including three major ones: November Update , Anniversary Update , and Creators Update . While Eye Control sounds like a fun new way to operate your laptop, Microsoft is positioning it as a more important tool.
