Obdulia Sanchez is now in the Merced County Jail on charges of vehicular manslaughter while under the influence and DUI

Obdulia Sanchez, 18, was booked into the Merced County Jail on Fridayon suspicion of DUI and vehicular manslaughter following the crash that killed her 14-year-old sister. Neither 14-year-old girl was wearing a seatbelt.

Obdulia Sanchez aimed the camera phone at her face as she rapped along to the song blaring over the radio and tried to control the auto she was driving on a road in California's Central Valley.

Obdulia Sanchez was driving her sister, Jacqueline Sanchez, and another girl westbound down Henry Miller Road around 6:40 p.m. Friday.

Sanchez's 14-year-old sister, Jacqueline, and another teen girl - who were in the back seat and were not wearing seat belts - were ejected from the tumbling vehicle.

Said Obdulia in the video, "I fucking killed my sister, OK?" A female is heard in the video saying, "Hey, everybody, if I go to fucking jail for life, you already know why". "If you don't survive, I'm so (expletive) sorry".

Mary Hernandez of Stockton recorded the live stream. California Highway Patrol officials reported that Sanchez was under the influence and that she rolled her vehicle over, hitting a barbed-wire fence.

"Sanchez was under the influence when she rolled her auto over into a barbed wire fence and then a field", police told ABC 30.

'At first we didn't even want to believe it was real, ' she said.

A California teen is behind bars after apparently livestreaming herself at the wheel of a vehicle she crashed, killing her 14-year-old sister and injuring another 14-year-old passenger on Friday.

When police arrived at the scene, they found the deceased 14-year-old.

A family member told the Fresno television station that Sanchez would have celebrated her Quinceanera on Sunday. The other passenger sustained major trauma to her right leg. 'I recorded it and posted it mainly because as someone who uses Snapchat I see a lot of people driving with their Snapchats doing what she was doing so to me it was like an eye opener'.

As for the older sister, she was reportedly uncooperative with police officers and appeared to be highly intoxicated.

Their family has set up a GoFundMe page to raise funds for her funeral costs, with a $10,000 goal.
