The Search for 4 Bucks County Missing Men: What We Know

Search Resumes for 4 Young Men Missing in Bucks County

The men were scheduled for a preliminary hearing July 31.

"I can't imagine what they're going through", he said. Authorities believe one was killed on July 5, and three were killed on July 7. Weintraub will lay out the case in detail Friday afternoon, according to a spokesman.

Earlier, Weintraub had been followed by some relatives to the missing persons.

Copies of charging documents in the case are attached below.

"I'm not sure", he said, "we could ever answer that question".

The detention comes on the heels of Cosmo DiNardo's attorney saying that his client admitted to killing the four men and telling authorities the location of the bodies.

The first to vanish was 19-year-old Jimi Patrick of Newtown Township.

Prosecutors said the suspected weapons that killed the four men, a Smith and Wesson.357 caliber handgun and an Intratec 9 mm Luger, were recovered from a home in Upper Dublin Township in Montgomery County, a residence where Kratz had lived.

When they arrived, Patrick said he only had $800, and Dinardo agreed to sell him a shotgun for that amount. DiNardo then continued to shoot at his body after he had died, The Daily Mail said.

Three of the slain men were buried at the farm, in Solebury, in an oil tank that had been converted into a cooker.

DiNardo told investigators he agreed to sell a quarter-pound of marijuana to Finocchiaro for about $700 on July 7.

Neighbors on the cul-de-sac where Dinardo lives in Bensalem described him as a good kid who went out of his way to help others, such as volunteering to shovel them out during snowstorms and refusing payment.

Beitz went on to say that DiNardo was known for dealing marijuana and selling firearms, aggressively searching for new customers - his mobile number was circulated regularly by resident teenagers. Authorities said the title had not been signed, indicating Meo had not transferred the title to anyone or authorized its sale. He's since been charged alongside DiNardo for taking part in three of the killings.

The same night, Dinardo had a drug deal set up with Thomas Meo, who had brought along friend Mark Sturgis.

"When they turn their backs on me, I shot Tom in the back", DiNardo told investigators.

He was arrested and released on bail in that case, but months later he was in trouble again when investigators say Kratz broke into the home of the witness in the June case and swiped several pieces of jewelry, which he resold for $345.

Later the same day, DiNardo picked up Meo and Sturgis.

On Sunday at 4:30 p.m., Bucks County detectives received a call from one of DiNardo's friends, indicating DiNardo offered to sell him Meo's Nissan Maxima for $500. The affidavit alleges DiNardo confessed he then ran over Meo with the backhoe before using it to lift both bodies into a metal oil tank, where he had already placed Finocchiaro's corpse. Investigators continue to dig and sift through dirt at the Solebury Township farm where the bodies were discovered.

Kratz is charged in the murders of Finocchiaro, Meo and Sturgis.

Antonio DiNardo the father of Cosmo DiNardo gets into a SUV to be driven away from a Bucks County government building Thursday, July 13, 2017, in Doylestown, Pa. Lawyer Paul Lang, a defense attorney for Cosmo DiNardo.

While the news this week of the quadruple homicide in Bucks County has come out in spurts, Friday afternoon's release of the arrest affidavit reveals almost the entirety of the grisly events that led to the death of four young men.
