Richard Jefferson says Cavaliers aren't giving up or giving

The 15 Cleveland Cavaliers and 15 Golden State Warriors who will suit up for Game 5 of the NBA Finals Monday night have played a combined 245 seasons in the NBA. After missing their shot at a 16-0 playoff record, they returned to Oracle Arena and finally secured the clinching victory they couldn't pull off after winning three games against the Cleveland Cavaliers in last year's NBA Finals.

LeBron James is stressed out.

US: TV: ABC. Live streaming: ABC GO. Perry Green and Stephen D. Riley of the AFRO Sports Desk debate this pressing question.

Golden State got there a little differently this time around, opening up a 3-0 lead. That stung ever since, as Durant understood, because he gave up the same lead to the Warriors a round earlier with Oklahoma City.

Cleveland's Kyrie Irving drives to the basket against Golden State Warriors forward Andre Iguodala.

During the playoffs, the Warriors previously swept Portland, Jazz and San Antonio. That should give the Cavaliers some hope.

It was stunning when the Cavaliers came back to win after Golden State followed their 2015 championship with an NBA-record 73 wins in the regular season. They are up 3-1 in the best-of-seven series - again.

It was the third year in succession the two teams had met in the finals.

"I have no reason to put my head down", James said.

That's the mentality Cleveland brought into Game 4 last Friday night. That won't happen now, but there's still a chance for them to get it done in seven. I think they take care of business.

Riley: Their win last season wasn't a fluke.

"I just wanted to lay it all out there". James' 41 points were not enough. "You want to reward your home fans and you obviously don't want to extend the series any longer than it has to be when you're in this position". If this keeps up, we could see a Durant poster dunk over LeBron at some point in Game 5. Golden State is playing with house money, and every advantage is in their favor.

That's why, even after three strong games to open this series, which saw Curry come into Game 4 within shouting distance of averaging a triple-double, one game set Curry's stature back, and put back into focus his importance to the Warriors. We know what it takes to win a championship. "They're some special players, and they make some unbelievable plays".

Part of James' dominance in the series has been his ability to digest what the Warriors want to do on both ends of the floor and countering it. Can Golden State handle that stress?
