EAThe big EA Play 2017 times and live stream details confirmed
The new game is also cooperative, and is only playble in split screen with another person.
Among the major things promised was a more unified community. It's the next game from BioWare, who will hope to bounce back from Andromeda's controversies. The multiplayer will also feature 20-on-20 battles and characters from the prequel and sequel trilogies, including Boba Fett, Maul, and Rey. It will again be open-world and story-driven.
Battlefield 1, which was released past year, also received a trailer that showed off its newest DLC, In The Name Of The Tsar. That, along with six new maps and a new small-squad competitive mode, makes for some exciting developments along the Western (or rather Eastern) that's anything but quiet. This latest expansion takes players to the Russian front and features "the iconic women's battalion of death". The biggest addition is the new The One mode. After a bit of smash-and-crash the player commandeered the truck she was chasing and stole a vehicle from inside it, just in time to be confronted by a helicopter.
There's some Burnout DNA in the new Need for Speed Payback, which follows a team of drivers who are being threatened by a unsafe group known as the House. There's even a clear sense of family and comradery in the bits of plot we saw.
While there was nothing particularly earth-shattering, the mix of annual sports games and new IPs did enough to impress. Unfortunately, there was no Hoop Gawd on hand this year's show. Despite the existence of Mass Effect, it's clear that Anthem is also taking on the sci-fi genre.
We haven't seen much of A Way Out since the 2014 Game Awards, while Project Dylan is going to be EA's big finish for this year's show.
While not the biggest game announced during the show, A Way Out was probably one of the most unusual and interesting.
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons was a breakout hit in 2013. The concept involves two characters, Leo and Vincent, as they work together to escape from prison. It focuses on co-op as players need to work together to escape from prison and do so in typical video game fashion through auto chases, shootouts, and explosions. EA has responded to player feedback concerning the first game and that was addressed during the briefing hosted by actress Janina Gavankar. According to EA, we're also in store for a few "surprises".
Of course, you wouldn't have an EA show without a healthy dose of their latest sports games. They haven't revealed much besides this, but they should be dropping a new trailer tomorrow. Alex Hunter, the protagonist of the story mode in last year's game, returns in Federation Internationale de Football Association 18 with "The Journey", which continues his story. There will also be a Switch version, though it will be slightly downgraded compared to those available on other consoles.
This is what I mean by EA's conference being a little thin.

As OPEC cuts, United States oil exports surge
August Brent crude oil closed at $48.16, down 1.96 or -3.91% and July WTI crude oil settled at $45.78, down 2.41 or -5.00%. There are already doubts that the effort to curb production by nearly 1.8 million bpd is seriously denting crude exports.
