Accuser takes the stand in Bill Cosby sexual assault trial

Andrea Constand's mother testified Wednesday about the calls. She says that's when Cosbysexually assaulted her. She said on Tuesday that the calls mostly involved the team and that she felt her continued friendship with Cosby was important to the athletic department.
Constand is a former employee of Temple University, Cosby's alma mater.
"I think, in general, he may have reached out to get to know me, what I did there as director of operations", Constand said. "But I was frozen, and those messages didn't get there and I was very limited".
"Eventually, he asked me to come up to his house to talk about basketball", she continued. To hear her talk about something I never heard her talk about, to see her cry, was really hard for me.
They pressed her on why she called Cosby more than 50 times after the encounter and brought up an inconsistent statement she gave to Canadian police.
Agrusa contended that the advances Cosby made on Constand on two occasions - touching her thigh one time, and attempting to unbutton her trousers and pull down her zipper another - signaled his romantic interest.
The defense argues that Constand called Cosby 72 times after the night in question. Constand refused to yield the point, saying his conduct - touching her thigh and her trousers zipper - had been "suggestive" but not sexual.
"I don't condone sexual assault in any way, shape or form, but, at the end of the day, our court system is set up ... you're innocent until proven guilty..." she said.
On Tuesday, Constand testified, "I was having to recall a lot of facts", adding that "it was very overwhelming". "I wasn't scared of someone making a pass at me".
Cosby is still not looking at Andrea Constand on the stand.
"He said 'put them down [your throat]". "What are they - are they natural? They'll take the edge off". "I said, 'What do I do?' He said, 'Swallow them down.' I said, 'I trust you, ' and I swallowed them down".
Constand did not report the alleged January 2004 assault to authorities until January 2005 after she returned home to Canada. She initially told officers she had never been alone with Cosby before the night of the incident and that she had largely cut off contact with him afterward, neither of which was true. She told police that the next thing she knew, she was fading in and out of consciousness and that she woke up the next morning with her sweater bunched up around her and her bra undone.
"He was sorry that you were upset", defense lawyer Angela Agrusa said, providing an alternate explanation for Cosby's apology. "Mr. Cosby grabbed, helped me by my arm and assisted me to a couch". "I was in no state of mind".
Frazier, best-known for her starring role in the 1972 cult blaxploitation film, "Super Fly", was accompanied by her husband, John Atchison, a celebrity hairstylist whose client roster includes Cosby and his wife, Camille.
Victoria Valentino is one of several Cosby accusers attending the trial. "I began to slur my words and I told Mr. Cosby that I had trouble seeing him and I was seeing two of him", she testified. "I wasn't able to fight him away". "I wanted him to stop".
Constand testified that on a previous evening at his home, the actor had tried to unfasten her trousers. Throughout all the questioning, she has consistently said there was no sexual contact on that prior occasion. "I wanted guidance and I wanted to protect myself", Constand explained.
"I was mistaken", Constand testified.
Constand left Philadelphia on March 31, 2004. According to the charging document in the case, Constand's mother, Gianna Constand, noticed, after her daughter moved back to her native Toronto, that her personality and demeanor changed and she suffered from nightmares.
