During the company's Build 2017 developer conference in Seattle, Microsoft detailed the next major update headed to Windows. It will be the second major update to Windows 10 in 2017, which will be a trend going forward. During their presentation, the company displayed the following slide which, as pointed out by Windows Central, looks like a total revamp of File Explorer, an app that hasn't seen a significant update in a very long time. There will also be new tools, controllers, and coding software to make developing apps a little easier.
That's why Microsoft today unveiled the Fluent Design System, a new set of design guidelines that will slowly but surely give Windows 10, Microsoft Office, and all its other apps a slick new look, starting later this year. "Coupled with Office 365, Windows Timeline, Fluent Design System, and Microsoft's powerful Bot Framework, Windows 10's upcoming Fall Creators Update will enable developers to create richly immersive experiences and powerfully task-focused distributed collaborations".
"For developers, Fluent Design is built to help you create more expressive and engaging apps that work across a wide range of device and input diversity", he added. Details are scarce, but given that Graph works with Office 365, there's a good chance users will be able to rewind not only Windows software but also its cloud services. Graph has four distinct features to help connect people, conversations, projects and content-Timeline, Pick Up Where You Left Off, Clipboard and OneDrive Files on Demand.
Clipboard, which will allow users to easily copy just about anything on a desktop PC and paste it onto their mobile device.
Microsoft just wrapped up its day-two Build 2017 keynote, and this is the one that was filled with news that's more important to consumers and the company's loyal fans.
Microsoft has a couple of extra OneDrive tricks up its sleeve, too, aimed at mobile users. Story Remix brings memories, photos and videos together to create stories with a soundtrack, theme and cinematic transitions. It lets users add elements of alternative reality to normal videos and uses artificial intelligence to edit videos automatically. It's likely this will be somehow tied into Cortana and its new resume features. This is the latest refinement to Microsoft's UI style that started as "Metro" in the Windows Phone 7 era. The new SDK is being released in conjunction with Windows 10 Insider Preview (Build 16190 or greater) and brings under development changes to the API surface area and the usual bug fixes. Microsoft also announced it is working with SUSE Linux and Fedora Linux running on the Windows Subsystem for Linux - to bring them to the Windows Store. Now, Windows is the only platform that can run both Windows apps and Linux apps side-by-side.
Last but not least, OneDrive is received a new feature when the Fall Creators Update rolls out later this year.
Story Remix is also tapped into Microsoft's Remix3D community, a searchable library of virtual objects created by contributing artists (who are credited whenever someone uses their work). However, the solution is simple - all you need to do is remove the SD card and insert it back post the installation of the update.
Acer Inc. plans to sell a headset and motion controller bundle for $399 this holiday season, Microsoft said.
Puerto Rico Declares a Form of Bankruptcy

Is Ubisoft teasing a Far Cry 3 remake?
Update: Ubisoft has told Game Informer that this was simply a "throwback post", and that it wasn't meant as a tease. Ubisoft is up to something, and it has Far Cry fans grasping for straws and trying (and failing) to remain calm.

Saudi comments support prices
The fall in oil prices was, however, given some support by a report indicating that there was a decline in output in Saudi Arabia. OPEC meets on May 25 and the group's ministers have been talking up the chances of more production cuts.
